Update - June 11, 2008
We're just one day away from the first Lead Gen Mixer SF. More than 100 people have RSVP'd, and it looks to be a great group of people attending. My goal, and I know David shares it as well, is to further the business of lead generation and online customer acquisition as a whole. Future events will focus on not just face time but productive networking as well. We as an industry need to come together to thrive, and despite our planning the event during the same time as the NBA Finals, we thank everyone who has shown their support and commitment to the space.

Price - $15 + $.99 processing fee with Eventbrite. What it entitles you to - about $60 worth of food and alcohol. That's what Dave and I are on the hook for and why we're actively looking for four sponsors to help subsidize. (Dave has a newborn, so if you don't do it for the lead gen space and because it will help your business, do it for Zev.)

For me, it's hard to believe that more than a month has passed since LeadsCon. The date has been set for the next event, March 4 - 5 2009, and a post will follow once the details are live on the site. Many know that I had thought about doing another show this year, but I don't want to dilute the experience, especially given the conference overload many face.
LeadsCon is committed to serving the needs of the lead generation industry, and with that mission in mind,
I'm excited to announce that along with David Rodnitzky, founder PPCAdbuying.com and creator of LinkedIn Lead Generation Group (now up to 800 members!), we will host a mixer for those in the lead generation space. It's a way for those interested in online lead generation to connect, strike new deals, as well learn who is doing what. Or, maybe it will just be an excuse for all those ex- Nextag, Quinstreet, and Adteractive folks to come together. :)
