Had the opportunity to meet some great companies while up in Northern California. Unlike Mike Arrington, though, I saw mainly Web 1.25 shops - lead generation, arbiters, etc. Perhaps next time, though, I'll get to drive down Sandhill Road.

- AOL CEO, "on demand is going to be the dominant way to consume content." - imo, it has always been that way. Technology is simply enabling the fulfillment of human behavior. Who hasn't wanted to easily catch an episode of a show they missed, or be able to watch something that has long since aired, but which we just learn is good?
- TV Shows adding blogs - As I've written about (email for copy of speech), they need to do it well or not at all. We'll see if they have the commitment to making quality content the way they do to the shows themselves
