LeadsCon has just finished and now the fun begins, making sure to properly thank all of those who made this show much better than anticipated. We had 1400 people (more than 2x growth from last year) from 650+ companies while successfully maintaining the higher level dialog and networking that made the first show special. It also gave me my first chance to use Twitter. As a neophyte and partial luddite, I needed the real world case. I'm fascinated by how real-time communication can become a disruptive force in the world of user behavior online. That said, I still don't understand why Twitter doesn't have a search button on one's profile or why they don't redirect www.twitter.com/search instead of giving a 404.
Currently working the details for LeadsCon East, which will be held in NYC August 18 - 19, 2009 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. From a blog perspective, the next post is one of my favorite topics which has risen from obscurity to infamy and perhaps back on its way to obscurity in less than five months time. It's the fake blog, aka, flog, and what a topic it is.
